Meet Principal Trenae Howard

Trenae Howard

Trenae Howard has served as the principal of Granville Lutheran School for 12 years. Trenae started as a teacher at LUMIN Schools before stepping into her current leadership role. Trenae is a lifelong learner and has studied extensively to better serve her school and community. She earned a Bachelor’s in Business Administration degree from Concordia University-Wisconsin, a Master’s in Electrical Engineering from ITT Technical Institute, a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Concordia University-Portland, and is currently working on her Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership from Northcentral University. Prior to her career in educational leadership, Trenae worked her way into leadership roles as an engineer. During this time, she learned how to be a humble leader and work for the good of the group—lessons that she carries with her as a principal.
